Kawaru

Kawaru connector for Claude

The connector lets Claude read and edit your Kawaru workspace: value chains, process maps, interviews and automation plans. Claude works only with the organizations and projects your Kawaru account can access.

Before you connect

  • You need a Kawaru account that has finished onboarding and has access to at least one organization and project.
  • Your organization membership and project grants in Kawaru decide what Claude can see and change. Signing in through Claude never adds rights.

Connect

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and add Kawaru from the directory (Connect), or add a custom connector with the URL below.
  2. Connector URL: https://my.kawaru.app/mcp
  3. Sign in with your Kawaru account on the Kawaru sign-in page and approve access. Never paste a token into a chat or a URL.
  4. Ask Claude to list your organizations and projects, then name the project to work in.

Example prompts

  • “List my Kawaru projects and describe the value chain in the project I choose.”
  • “Start a process interview in this project. Ask me the questions and show me the summary for approval before saving the process.”
  • “Show this process as a BPMN diagram; rename the step I specify, then show the updated process.”

Claude asks before every change. Interview answers are saved as a draft; business data is committed only after you confirm the summary.

Troubleshooting

  • “Not authorized” or the connector asks to sign in again: your session ended or was revoked. Reconnect the connector in Claude.
  • A permission error on a project: ask a Kawaru organization admin for access to that project. Reconnecting does not change permissions.
  • A tool says the data changed meanwhile: someone else edited it. Ask Claude to read it again, then repeat the change.
